The Ministry of Education is working to increase the use of ICT in education to provide hybrid and blended learning for students.

She adds that although ICT is indispensable these days, the style of teaching should be child-centred.

“The first part of the work will just be a survey of each school to understand what kind of technology they have and if the internet is available at that school and if the internet is not available at that school, what other options teachers can to have.”

The minister says such reforms are needed to transform the education sector.
